Good day! Thank you for the response. Hope you all are doing well. No worries! Happy to hear from you all and hope that the time off was good to you. Wow that's amazing you finished up a book on the downtime. Where are you all off to in the upcoming adventures? Since our message, we temporarily relocated from our home in St Pete, FL to Portland, Oregon (where I am from and have family & friends) for the birth of our son Elio. It's been quite the adventure entering into parenthood and loving every happy and difficult moment. Our plan is to return to FL this fall with a little traveling over the summer. Then hopefully some longer trips with the little one in 2027. Here are a few family pics we've taken on our local trips. 4 months old and he's already got his passport and ready to go! :)
Hi Jim (and Rita), I also used to work at the Debate and I remember interacting with you a couple times. Darren Richards (with whom I stay in touch) told me about your podcast and I am enthralled! My wife and I are in our upper 40s and our dream is to retire in our upper 50s and do what you're doing!
Hello Jim, this is Waylon from Florida. I wondered what happened to the IL podcast you were hosting and just recently saw on your site that they put it on hold but that you had transition your work to this other one. I've enjoyed listening to your episodes and am excited to listen through your new podcast. Happy you all are back on the road traveling.
Hey Jim and Rita, Hope you all are doing well and the move and recovery has been smooth for you. We finally made it down to explore Costa Rica and now Panama City. We are staying near the Panama Canal museum in beautiful Casco Viejo. We did some exploring around the area last night on foot. The views of the city along lovers lane are spectacular. It was quite unique seeing the large red moon paired with the city. We are off to see a lot more of the city on the red bus tour followed by the jazz festival and another evening of good food and laughs. I just wanted to stop by and thank you all for what you do. Your words have given me back some of my courage to travel. Keep being your authentic selves. -Waylon y Pam
